Wondering if anyone can help with this problem, ill start with the specs of the computer
Athlon 2500xp Barton core, 333mhz
1 gig geil 3200 ram
asus a7n8x deluxe rev. 2
Radeon 9800 pro built by ATI
550w Enermax P.S

a few hard drives, although all but a 15 gig are pulled and not attached to power.

now my problem is this, i turn the system on, the power light comes on, the drive spins up, the LEDs on the memory turn on, the power LED on the motherboard turns on, all fans spin up, however i get no POST or video on the monitor. I've pulled all sticks of memory, tried in various positions on the board, pulled all cards but memory, video, and processor, but no effect. Am i dealing with a dead board here? i sure hope not...thats why im asking for anyone's opinion. I have tried another video card which was working prior to replacing with the radeon but it didnt work either. I tried clearing the CMOS jumper and that didnt work either. Anyone have any other ideas or think of anything i may have overlooked? If you can think of anything i would greatly appreciate it!

remove video card ... and boot ... if no beep error ... then mobo is dead ... try as well with memory off ...

for some reason the board isnt beeping at all, which unfortunately leads me to think its a dead board :(

just for those who were keeping up with the show, board is officially dead, tried two other procs on it, nothing turned on, but tested my hardware on another board and it worked just fine, gettin a new board, thanks to all those who helped
