Problem reconizing dual monitors

So I have a amd 270x. I recently purchased a benq2420z to use as my gaming monitor.

So I have that monitor hooked up via dvi-d and my original ACER hooked up via HDMI. The amd catalyst program and windows do not recognize that I have a 2nd monitor hooked up. How can I fix this. The acer was working fine via Hdmi before I hooked the benq up. I just started streaming so I want to game on one and watch the stream chat on the other.
