Hey guys i am having a little problem with my comp. i am trying to OC my 2500+ over 200x11 and if i go over 200fsb, my comp wont post unless i lower the % for the ram to 83%. i have 1x512mb pc3200 geil value ram. so i think it might be the memory. if you guys are having the same problem or know what the problem is and how to solve it, that would be great!!!

Thanks for hte help,

Jack

try backing down on the timings if you can, i had 2x 512mb geil value that would do atleast 460mhz at 3x4x4x8 perhaps more i havent gotten around to tweaking it much

What voltage are you giving the Geil if it's 2.5v try 2.6 or 2.7 IMO thats quite safe set the timings to spd (default) .

I've got GeIL Value Ram (a 512MB stick) that does 420MHz @ 6-3-3 (2.8V), with no errors after 24Hours of MemTest86+ looping.
