hey all!

couple of months ago i got a new computer

the specs are:

Pentium 4 2.6 c 800 FSB
PMI 512 mb Ram 333 Mhz
and a ABIT IC7 MAX3 mobo,

i accedently bought 333mhz Ram in one stick instead of 400 mhz in 2 sticks .

every time i try to OC my computer i cant move over the 2.7 ghz .

is it because the memory?
do i have to change a memory to OC my computer ?

thanks for the answers .

:)

I don't think it is the memory because you would of gotten a higher overclock then 1mhz.

because I had 333mhz 2700 DDRS and got my AMD Athlon 2400 at 2.6ghz.

Try using the 3:2 or 5:4 divider as 1:1 ratio is out of the picture with your ram....you'll certainly hit 3Ghz easily with those dividers i mentioned ealier.....
