i remember being told that the x1950 series had a known bug that Corrupted the bios logo, and it was nothing to worry about, but now im wondering if its also the cause of another problem.

just this afternoon my computers clock was off by 2hrs exact when i booted it up. i thought thats strange, but nothing to worry about, just a giltch probably.

i turned the computer off when i was out of the house for a couple hours, and when i got home it was off by 2hrs again. this time im thinking something is off, maybe the BIOSs clock was off by 2 hours some how.

i rebooted and tried to get into my bios but the system hanged. tried it again and the same thing happend.

now im completly stumped and do not have my x800 to swap back in and see if that hangs too.

has any one else ever heard of something like this happening?

Your windows time, is in your CMOS battery, on your motherboard.

If you don't like your current VGA BIOs, flash them.

Check for a new version of BIOs for your motherboard.

The BIOs hanging, I am almost positive, is your CMOS battery.
