Problem keeping my computer powered

Hello everyone.

Recently my power supply died so I went out and bought an Antec 480 watt power supply ---> http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=22480

I put the guts back into my computer (I had pulled my mobo out and stripped it down) and powered up. Everything went ok for about 45 minutes. Then my computer shut down out of the blue. Strange..I booted up again and started browsing the internet again. 5 minutes later my computer shut down again. Booted back up and after another 5 mins my computer shuts off with no warning. I plugged my computer into directly into the wall outlet and got the same results.

What could be causing this behavior? Could it be a short? If so would the computer boot up at all if there was a short? Is there anything that needs to be modified in the BIOS relating to the new power supply?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
