I recently did a fresh install on a new new computer, unknowing to me I installed all the software including norton 2003 with a 1 year subscription and at the end I noticed the date was wrong by over 11 months and when I changed it, now it say my norton is gonna expire in like 12 days, anyways to completely uninstall norton now that that date is right, I tried once but somewhere it still knows it was installed almost a year ago according to the wrong date ? please help I don't wanna reinstall everything AGAIN

delete all the contents of the norton folder as well as the symantec folder. you can also paw through the registry by going to start, run and typing in regedit

dont forget to delete the catalog.livesubscribe file its located in \Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\LiveSubscribe . it is what actually has your subscription info in it. if you look on the net there are versions where you can replace the file to enable subscriptions almost indefinately
