I just bought a used Dell Optiplex GX50, I did my research and pre ordered a set of 256mb pc133 sdram sticks. I installed the and to my suprise, the system had a fit. I used all my knowledge to figure it out. the manuals say that the pc can support up to 512 MB pc133
but the only way i can get my new ram to work is to leave one of the old 128 pc133 sticks in.. also, when i look at the bios it says that the ram is pc100. any ideas or experience on this?
