Problem, HSF backplate is stripped, and now stuck

Hey, I screwed in my Tuniq Tower only to find that the top left screw kept popping out of its socket, the bottom left wasn't too sturdy either. I tested the screws on a seperate back plate and both check out... So I'd just switch out the plates but now the defective plate is stuck to the back of my mobo!!!! How do you get these things off?
 
dont tell me you actually used that sticky junk to connect the back plate to your motherboard..your suppose to leave the cover on it so it doesnt stick to the motherboard.. only way you can get it off is by carefully removing it..if you can get the back plate off.. the other stuff usually comes off pretty easily..
 
A hair dryer is your best option. Just heat it up slowly and pry it off the back gently.
