Problem Getting Audio Please Help

Hey my friend sold me his audigy 2 card and for now is planning on using on board sound. but he is not sure of how to activate the onboard sounds through bios or wutnot

he says:

i've went through bios and enabled it and i went into device manager and enabled it and uninstalled all my previous drivers from the audigy 2... can anybody help me out and tell me how to get my onboard sound working.

Please help him out. thanks in advance
