I have a TV card in my computer. I have been trying to find some way to edit the files to remove the commercials and shrink the file size. I haven't been able to find any programs that accept the files as they are recorded so I think I need to convert them to another format first, but I've also been having problems with that, I've read through the sticky, but none of the stuff mentioned there seems to have made things better. The program I've had the most success with as far as converting files has been something called super, but even with that I can only seem to get ogg files. Does anyone have any suggestions for software that might help?

dunno if that is what you wanted. (Thanks for the program name. I had it before but couldn't find it again)
also it says the format is mpeg-ps

Well I think if I can find a way to convert them to say an AVI file aren't there a lot of editors that will do AVI that aren't as expensive? That is mostly what I've been trying to do.
