problem connecting to H

Hi, am having a prob connecting to www.hardforum.com, it just times out, but i can connect to www.hardocp.com no problem, i was wondering is there any working on the site happening, as i am not sure if its my line or not.

I did have probs with my line the other day, bt found a fault in my line, and i am not sure if its fixed and with this connection prob to H, i am curious to see if its my line thats still messed up or maybe the forum was down for a few minutes every now and then today ?

As a matter f interest, other ppl could still connect when i couldnt, so maybe i still have a prob with my line?

So if anyone can tell me if there was any probs with H forum today, i would be most greatful, just so that I can rule out the problem with my line or if I need t call bt and tell them its still bust..

Lol I was wrong. Definitely isn't DNS-related, as I switched through 3-4 different addies...
 
I've had the problem since last night.
Ping times were at 70ms and the forum would take up to 2 minutes to load.
Since about 1pm est all is well again.
 
I have trouble connecting to [H], but once I do it goes fine. I'm running Firefox, and it hangs on "connecting to www.hardforum.com" for about 15 seconds, but once it connects it downloads all the page content very fast.
 
Well, if its happening to loads of ppl, then i think I can rule out my line still being fuxored, but i dunno, speed tests are still showing at times 1-2mbits instead of 8 but even with 1-2, H shud still be cool for me to connect to.

Well, if it is my line, I have been told it will take up til tuesday to find and fix :(

I tried to post this post about 10 times, but the site just wudnt load, alo hardocp is messed up aswell for me now :(
 
Thanks, we are looking into this, seems to be very intermittent.
 
It's been happening all day to me. Tracert looks fine, but about 50% of requests timeout.
 
I had the same problem last night, thought it was some crazy isp filtering as I could still ping the dns name fine. I started using babelfish as a proxy to view the forums. ;o)
 
Yeah, This has been happening to me since yesterday.
I flip through some post's, and all of a sudden it will just time out. I thought is was firefox, but i guess it isn't. Something's amiss !!
 
I had major connection problems before, but it seems to be fixed now. :)

Yup, it seems to be better now, ever since late last night it has been working properly for me...

yes.. fixed now. When you guys were having those problems, I was as well. I know it wasn't my connection because I'm on OC-12 at work.. :p It was doing the same thing at my house, and I even tried Firefox/IE both.

Ever find out what it was so this can be prevented in the future? It had always happened on and off to me in the past.
