I have this wierd problem people:
I can't connecto the following domain www.espol.edu.ec and all of its subdomains ie. www.fiec.espol.edu.ec
Its the website of my university.
I get this message (the typical...) from firefox:
Unable to connect
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.fiec.espol.edu.ec.
* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.
* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
I know the server's fine since my gf connects to it regularly and we just did a test a few seconds ago... She connected. I couldnt...
Any idea why this is happening?
My gf and I are on the same ISP so that shouldnt be the cause.
I have a clear connection to the internet.
I ran a dlink di-624 router. All the computers in the house are connected to it and all seem to have the same problem.
thx, any input is appreciated.
oh and i just bypassed the router and connected one of the computers directly to the cable modem and im still having the same problem...
