Problem concerning computer has no sound.

I've tried almost everything updating sound drivers, checking if onboard audio was enabled in bios, and that the cables were secure on the motherboard. Unfortunately I'm not getting any audio to play at all from the computer. Any help is appreciated.

Have you made sure digital out is disabled?
Also try each port to see if sound is coming out of a different one.
