Problem after overclocking

I recently successfully oc'ed my 2700+ to be a 3200 + .... after that i changed back to the original cpu settings and now my OS is taking extremely long to boot up... anyone heard of this problem before and might have the solution ?
 
Are you sure you haven't changed anything in the BIOS that would affect your boot times? and does the problem go away when you return to the overclocked settings?
 
what bios settings would effect load times ? but no everything is at the their default value. But if i try to run the oc'ed settings the os takes just as long to boot as it would without them, which is around 5-6 minutes
 
Odd, i reinstalled a fresh copy of windows xp pro, and installed my printer drivers and the same thing happened, apon removal of the drivers and software it worked FINE, hrmmm kind off awkward eh ?
