hello.if i send a pm to someone,even though,according to the forum,they have not been online for,say 3 days,does the little symbol beside the sent message,
a little grey envelope?-signifies the message has been read.
-how can a member read a pm if it shows that person has not been logged on for 3 days

It's probably a feature of VBulletin they have turned off to reduce database load.

I believe that is an indication of your actions of the sent email....like a forward. You can track whether or not the PM was read a little further down the page...

FYI though, a recipient can choose not to send the read receipt. An admin however, can mandate the read receipt.
