Private Message Spam?

I think I got a spam message in my Private Messages box, I got :

if you want a carfax report, just let me know?

in the form of a PM, I do not recall anywhere where I asked for info on a carfax report or at anytime said anything that could possibly lead someone to believe I wanted one, I sure as hell hope this ain't a sign of things to come, I get enough spam as it is in my E-Mail boxes, I dont need it in my Inbox here as well.
Not sure where this is suppose to go or who to report it to, so Mods please move this to where it needs to be.

I'd take him up on it! All you gotta give is a VIN... not like its your CC number or anything. Carfaxes are those things that you never wanna pay for, but you need every five years.

Doesnt matter if its a copy of his family history. If it wasnt asked for, you shouldnt get it.

It's not spam unless it is en masse. Maybe sometime you had asked for a freebie from the Car forum and he just got around to it, or possibly he sent it to the wrong person. If more members report it, the problem will be addressed.

Like I said, I really wasn't sure how to respond, thats why I posted it here, I just know i didn't request anything, s I am on Disability and cant aford a car so I have absolutly no use for a Carfax report, thanks and sorry for the bother.
