What's the best place for private domain registration? GoDaddy wants an extra $9/year to keep private info, is that average?

With GoDaddy I'm looking at $36 for two years of private domain registration. Are their any other reputable places that are more cost effective?
 
I switched to GoDaddy a while back for all the domains I manage. They are cheaper than Network Solutions, yet are still reputable.
 
I use NameCheap for private registrations, its pretty cheap. For every domain you buy you get a free private coupon which you can use for any domain in your account. But for renewing a domain you have to then buy a private subsciption, unless you have unused ones.
