Remember the old HP laser jet II and III's I still have clients here that use a couple of these old dino's that are still going strong...
My question is, does any one have any suggestions from the $500 or lower range that will be serious work horses for a business that prints ALOT of B&W, invoices, newsletters, just basic stuff... Just need something that will do some hardcore work... At least 15k pages a month from just one person...Could be HP, prefered, or anything else...
Any one have ideas just let me know!

Thanks!

The only HP around that price-range that I would trust to 15K+/month is the LaserJet P3005

There are a few models in the $200 or so range that claim to handle upto 15,000/month workloads, but, I've seen them crap out more often than not.

At $550, the P3005 is going to do all you need and keep doing it for a long time.
Do your clients have any networking requirements, more RAM for large queues, lots of paper in the printer waiting?

Our business has had good reliability so far out of a pair of HP 1320n, not sure how they'll cope with your listed workload but they handle all our picking list and invoice creation (about 3000 sheets a month)
