20 minutes before I had to leave work for my night class. A customer called saying that she has not been able to print since we reloaded her machine due to some virus that was on there. The machine was reloaded before I even started working there. It was in January that this machine was reloaded (yeah just now decided to get something done about it). I start ask her to check some stuff. She said that she just spent 2 hours on the phone with HP and they couldn't figure it out. So i told here to bring the printer and the pc up to the office and I'll take a look at it. Didn't have much time to do anything with it other then remove see what the issue was and try 2 things quickly because i had to get to class.
First thing I was see what the issue was. So I tried to print a test page. It shows that it is sent to the printer but nothing prints. The queue shows empty after I tried to print. Nothing came out at the printer. No error, no nothing.
After that just went ahead and removed the printer and all the software that came with it. Then reinstall just the driver from the HP website. I try to print again and same thing. (She said HP had her do too and from the CD also) (Device manager shows everything is installed right)
Also, I Held the Button down to do the self test and it printed fine.
Lastly before I had to get my butt in gear before I was late for class. I moved it to a different USB port and still got the same issue.
In the morning when I get to work, I'm going to try it with a Parallel cable and see what happens and go from there. Just thought I would ask ya'll for some help since I normally don't work with printer issues till this new job.

Printer is a Deskjet 648c (connected USB)
