Printer issue in XP

Guys, have any of you seen this
Printers and Faxes in XP willl not open.
Not even if i restart the print spooler
Troubleshooting done so far

Reinstalled the print Spooler service
Ran a full repair on the OS
Also reinstalled SMS just in case (we use that here)

reinstalling the machine just seems like overkill
has anyone else run into this and found a fix?
