I'm looking to buy some bulk ink jet printable blank media. I have narrowed the choice down to memorex and verbatim. I know both offer good quality burns. Does either one make higher quality ink jet printing than the other?
 
most of my media printing needs i use verbatim because I like the quality that it prints with. Also, for when your burning CD's too, I use verbatim because the lightscribe discs can store in the GB's of data

Verbatim, for me, is the better choice
 
I would pick Verbatim. Memorex sources their media from a variety of makers and can offer very inconsistent quality (Memorex media is typically not well regarded because it is lower quality). Verbatim uses Mitsubishi, which is high quality.

Taiyo Yuden TYG02 8x printable DVDs are good too, if you were doing mail order. They might not read very well in some standalone players, but then there is Taiyo Yuden TYG03 16x printable media, which doesn't have this problem as much, but they could be pickier about the burner used to write them.
 
es, BillLeeLee is right when he said that there are some incosistances with Memorex. I used those CD's and other printable media before, and did have some trouble with bad labling quality and soem data not even being written to their discs
