So, since we all take the best photos in the world, I was wondering if you all would like to do a print exchange... we can do this after the holidays since we're already way deep into it. Let me know what you think
 
This is an interesting idea. Do you have any links to share to other print exchanges, so that we could get a better understanding of how this would work?
 
So, basically... I create a google document. We all put our name and address on it... and at the end of alotted time, you send what print you want to your print recipient. Kinda like Genmay SS.
 
Yeah I'll do this. I will take a photo specifically for this exchange.

I so far have six people signed up. Come on guys, I need more names in my in-box!!!! Also, if you don't have anywhere you can print it from, I have a smugmug-pro account you can use ;]
 
So am I suppose to have received something like a address or something.... who do I send a picture too or has that not yet been decided...
 
Hasn't been decided yet. I have all the names written down, then on the 11th you'll get your super secret print exchange person :D
 
Since we are exchanging here, I wanted to list up some of the types of photos that I like.

For my exchange person,

I particularly like landscapes. Ones with:
  • flowers
  • rivers
  • trees
  • dynamic clouds
  • startrails
  • milkyway
  • wicked moon lighting

I'm fond of photos that are:
  • happy
  • sunny
  • colorful
  • feel like they have life

I wish we had moving photos like in Harry Potter. :D I'd list up timelapse photos; like the ones done by Uncage the Soul Productions or TimeScapes.

Tomorrow you all get your assignments. =] We're at an odd number, so someone will be getting a special print from me.
 
Cool! Got my target email. I'm planning to get mine printed tomorrow, and should have it shipped early next week.

Yep - haven't used one of these before so I gotta figure out how to save my edits.

edit - k, from my view it looks like my change was automatically saved. Do you see the date-change that I put in or is that local for me somehow? Sorry, i'm a google-docs noob.

FYI for my recipient; I'm going on a vacation Wed-Saturday so don't expect anything till after that =)
