Prince of Persia-Shadows Flickering/Glitching

Has anyone else had this issue? I have a video uploading; I'll link to it as soon as it's done.

4 GB RAM
8800GT
XP SP3

I typically overclock my CPU/GPU (Stressed and Issue Free) - but I have rolled back to stock speeds while trying to resolve this issue. I have no stability issues or otherwise with other recent titles (GTA4, Crysis/Warhead, Devil May Cry 4, Assassins Creed, etc.)

I've tried

-Driver video settings are left to "Application Controlled" for AA/AF. All other settings are left default.
-3 sets of drivers (180.43, 180.60, 180.84)
-Turning off AA
-Lowering Resolution
-Disabling/Updating AV
-Disabling/Updating Audio
-Reinstalling DirectX

Hmm, I have the same CPU and GPU as you do, I dont have that kind of problem.. using 180.84 drivers too..
I'm playing it @ 1680x1050 with 8xAA.

It has flickering even at stock speeds?

Yep, does the same at stock speeds. This is a weird one....I had the same issues with Mercenaries 2 and Rainbow 6 Vegas 2, but a driver upgrade resolved those.

I'm using a 4870, and glow on the characters is way too saturating i.e. the characters are so bright that you can't see the details!!!

EDIT: apparently AA in prince of persia doesn't work so well with ATI cards. I turned off AA and the glowing stopped.
