Finally finding 10-15 mins or so a day to OC my new 3200 Venice.

I managed to get it to 2750 so far, however, everytime I prime, it doesn't work right. Prime will be running, shows CPU usage going crazy but it doesn't show anything passing, I've waited for 15+ mins. It stays on the first test and thats it.

It'll run all the programs I normally run and do what I normally do but prime won't budge, should I assume this isn't a solid OC?

( I think I got a semi-pickle CPU, can go higher then 275 FSB :( )

Apparently Prime95 has some kind of memory allocation problem and I have heard that this is mainly experienced on machines running 1GB of memory. You might notice when running Prime and no tests are passing that your HD is thrashing alot. Try running a custom torture test and setting the "Memory to use" to 800 or 900.
 
i just run small fft's and use memtest/superPI 32m to make sure the ram is good

Same here. A small FFT benchmark should move along pretty quickly.
