How long should Prime95 be operated to conclude the overclocks reliability? Someone told me 12-24 hours....

Also, what modes do you run in? (Small, large, or blend?)

So far, one thread fails after 2 hours of consistent stressing. Even on factory settings.... Memtest ran error free for 9 cycles....

to make it into the HardForum O/C database, its 4 hours. I would say at least 4+ hours. personally, i do it overnight. If it's still running when i wake up. Its good to go.

I personally go for 8 hours of blendtest, if it passes that then I guess it will pass anything I'll ever throw at it...

I tried using blend mode and prime95 fails thread #2 after 1 hour at "STOCK" settings......

What should I do to diagnosis the problem?

Checked the VDimm to match manufacturers spec? Memory perhaps not getting enough juice, my Abit IP-35 defaults to 1.8v when 2.1v needed. try running the small fft in Prime and see what happens, trial and error really.

looks like u might have a problem with some of your hardware.. MB, Ram or CPU.

to test CPU stability (mainly overclocking) run prime95 in Small fft's

to test RAM & CPU stability (mainly overclocking and ram timing) run blend
