If youa re overclocking and you start to fail Prime95, would a voltage increase be helpful to pass Prime?
 
Basically, you increase it in quarter increments until you see it pass or run for more time. If increasing voltage doesn't do that, then it's not going to work. :)

Disregarding memory speed and northbridge chipset limitations, in general, you will be bottlenecked first by voltage, then by heat, then by the chip itself.
