Hey everybody, I have installed a Noctua NH-U12P SE2 into my LGA775 E8400 desktop yesturday and it's been a great improvement so far.

I am currently at 3.81ghz with the E8400 and my temperatures are around 46-48 degrees celcius, which I know is a bit high and that is all due to the automatic setting of the VCORE. I need to manually set the vcore and temps should go down a bit.

Now, when I try to run Prime95, Blended Torture test, I get this message.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

It may be high for that cooler however those are not at all high or a reason to worry for a CPU designed to run at up to 100C.

I would start by backing off of the overclock and see if the problem goes away.

The overclock is unstable. It either requires more voltage or some other setting needs to be tweaked.
