prime95 and stability

i am running 2 instances of prime95 with 100% cpu usage with my 4400+ x2 @2.7ghz

my question is, do you guys use your computer while you run prime95??

prime95 appears to run stable if I leave my comptuer alone, but when i use my computer and open.. for example IE, i get execution halted on one of the instances. does this mean that my overclocking settings are incorrect? something is instable?
 
Yes somethings most likely instable, I use my computer while priming and it seems to work fine, although the highest I can get my comp to overclock stable is 2692Mhz@1.375Ghz, I tried 2750@1.4Volts and while that was stable lastnight I tried it again this morning and was getting errors so I backed it down.

anyhow, so when running dual instnaces of prime95 @100% cpu usage.. if the comptuer is COMPLETELY stable.... you will never get execution halted even if you ran 3dmarks06?

Yes that is correct, once I tried to run 3Dmark06, Duel-Prime Small Test and 1 Prime Large test, it actually didn't slow it down to horribly, although the only reason I did that at the same time was to test my temps.
 
Run the REAL torture test

Dual Prime and Dual SuperPi 32M. Ifall of it passes, it is stable.
 
Is it just me? For some reason I can't open a second instance of Prime95? I click on the icon again, but it doesn't load another instance, it just vanishes if I have one already open.

I dunno how that would test more then 2instanes of prime as 2 instances already use 100% cpu load, 3Dmark06/05/03 also warms up the graphics cards which puts more stress on the system.

hmm, I have used all primes but the one I found to be the easiest to use is sp2004 , its a prime program with a nice interface.

It's just a good test of stability.

LOL. That's not a test of stability. First of all you only have 2 cores. So when you run 2x prime at 50% each, then when you start up spi, that takes away the cpu usage from prime and uses it to complete the test. Try that again with prime priority set to the highest level then post a screenshot.
