How do I get two instances of prime95 running? I seem to remember being able to do it along time ago, but for the life of me can't remember how to do it. I don't think it's doing me much good to prime only one core.

It's easy, you just have to have to run a second instance from another folder. Just copy your prime files to a second folder and you'll be able to have two copies running at the same time. Just make sure you go into the setup on each instance and set the affinity on both to use a different core.

Forget Prime... You want the ultimate dual-core CPU and RAM stress test, get ORTHOS... It's a derivative of Prime but it's much easier to use and test your PC with...
Dont forget CoreTemp to monitor your temps.

I recommend against Orthos.
Even though, it supposes to be the same as dual Prime95 running. I found that my system get error on dual prime but run fine on orthos (says dual primes fail after 5 mins while orthos runs fine for 9 hrs).
Here's my personal experience;
