Im running Prime 95 to see if my rig is stable. How well does it test the ram when it is on blend mode? also is a good test for my PSU, its been running for 18 hours now and no problems yet :D I was having lock ups in games and a friend told to use it to see if my system is ok, I thought it was for just OCing he told me that is not so,
Thanx in advance
PS: Everthing is stock

the blend test is good to catch RAM errors, however, it will also catch motherboard/PSU/CPU errors...so if you get an error with "blend" it's not definately your RAM that's at fault

memtest86 is a good program to test RAM with, if it gets an error it's almost certain it's your RAM that's at fault (google it to find out where to download it)

i use the "in-place FFTs" to test my stability as i OC in order to get the maximum heat possible, when i reach my cieling i'll also memtest it to make sure

most people agree overnight is fine to make sure your system is stable, i say 24 hours...
