Hey guys...

Im very interested in water cooling my system... but i really have no idea where to start... :(

Could anyone please tell me what i need and roughly howmuch it will cost??

external part wont be a problem really :) as long as i dont need to have stupid big holes in my case :D

If you want good performance for both your CPU, and GPU expect upwards of $180. It all depends on how fancy u wanna get.

I live in UK aswell so ill tell you price in pounds:)


If this is your first water cooling setup i would really recommend getting
"H20-220 APEX ULTRA" which is around £130-150.
The old one with the storm block is still being sold at www.overclockers.co.uk for £158 with VAT.
I would say get the new one so see if you can find it on the net.
With this setup you do have to drill holes in your case but it is worth it.
They give you step by step instructions aswell.
If you really do not want to dirll holes in your case you could mount it inside but it will decrease the cooling performance.
If you want to also cool your graphics card you should get a Maze 4 block from dangerden. That would be a great watercooling setup and the price altogether would be about £180.:D

Yeah I think the Apex kit seems to be everybodies choice for first time water coolers :) Maybe we should make a sticky thread with start kit choices for all of this :)
