From what I hear, the only chipsets that support the new Preslers are 955X and 975X. Do any older chipsets work? Boards with the 955X and 975X are just too expensive. Are there BIOS flashes that could allow older chipsets to support it?
 
945/955 & 975 boards should all work. Some might need a new BIOS though. Check the motherboard's website to be sure they've already implemented the latestest BIOS to support 900 series chips (presler).
