Prescott w/ 64 bit extensions...

How soon do you think it will be till we can get our hands on a Prescott with 64 bit extensions? I heard they wouldnt be sold to the general public but there has to be some way to get one. Gettin ready to build a PC and I'd like to see a comparison between an A64 and a Prescott F before I bought anything.

I'm not sure if those FCLGA775 chips will fit onto boards made for regular LGA775 chips. None are for sale separately yet, so probably not. Anyways, the prices are supposed to go down this weekend: $417 for the 3.60F.

The Xeon 3.6GHz is the same core/FSB/cache as the 3.60F, just with a different chipset and using registered ECC memory. The 3.60F should be a little faster, but the Xeon reviews should give you a good idea.
