Prescott Overclocking

Not Bad although was hoping to squeeze 250fsb so i could run 1:1 with better ram but close enough

This Coolermaster Hyper 6 cooler rocks, the load temp is about 51 degrees with 1.5v

Very nice. Curious, have you tried to run your current speed @ default voltage and run games etc. Should be able to. This Proc can do that pretty well at that FSB. Be nice if you could keep that vcore @1.4. Doesn't stink for the heat situation either.

Just curious.

GL :)

Well your cheap ram as you call it, seems to be holding it's own for what you've accomplished here. So don't beat it up too much :)

Anyway, if your particular proc could sustain this FSB @1.4v it would do so ram or no, (assuming the ram runs that speed naturally, as yours is doing.) Since in that event you'd up the memory voltage independently, or course. Power maybe, what a subject that is? Holy cow! I swapped my PSU just this weekend, but did my overclocks with an old Antec 400watt Psu no True Power or what not, up until this very weekend.
But from day one I set the vcore as low as my board would allow @1.375 and left it there in hopes it would not go much higher than 1.4. And works well that way even @ the FSB your running, would go as high as 1.408 maybe. Up until 250FSB, I've not needed to bump the vcore on this 2.8E, and I don't really like too. And all on the old Antec. And yeah I can play games for hours, or anything else with no trouble of any kind. I don't benchmark and all of that though. If it's working great, good enough for me.
I posted a screenshot for an "entirely different reason" somewhere around here! But it captured these figures I mentioned.

Anyway, interesting to see how the same, but different chips will do. Was curious. Again a very nice job there!
Thanx

think this is holding me back?

There's much discussion over in the Power Supply Forum about Aspire PSU. And every other kind too. It's a worthy place to stop and read.

"I" only know for certain that our Prescott is a power hungry monster! And it's power requirements are different then cpu's past.

Go have a visit over there.
