Prescott or northwood?

In a little under 2 weeks prescott wil be release and I have all my gear for a new system. However Im torn on wether to get a prescott or a northwood the prices will drop when the prescott comes out which is why im waiting but im worried the prescott may actually be slower at 3.0ghz which is where i aiming at buying. So what do you all think will the prescott really be better? will anyone have day of release for a comparison?

If you can't find them, then Prescott. :p

I seriously hope it kicks ass.
I've been holding off my upgrade since 2 month already.
I need a totaly new system see sig heeh :D
