Prescott Chipset?

what chipset do you need for a prescott? I currently have a D875PBz with a 2.66B. I do a lot of 3d stuff as well as games, and was wondering if I could upgrade to the prescott without much pain. Thanks.

You should have no problems at all, but it's always a good idea to check with the board maker. So visit intel.com and find out. You will need a BIOS update for sure to recognise the new microcode.

Personally after reading all the reviews the Prescott really isn't worth getting. I would go with a p4 Northwood. They are cheaper and run just as well if not better.
