Prelude Drivers

All the reviews I've read about this card lists the driver as a weak point -
Has things changed since?

When they talk about poor drivers, do they mean..
- missing features
- buggy/crashes/etc
- messy.. hogs resources.. startup apps/utilities..
- others
- all of the above?

I'm not much of a gamer, but with the X-Meridian no longer in production, this seems like the next best choice.

They have to wait for Creative to make a new driver, and then implement their Dolly-diddle in it...so that could be one reason.
