just got my 1080ti to replace the 980 I sold back in November. I did not remove the old nvidia drivers before installation (doh) and now windows freezes on boot, but works fine in safe mode. I tried to install fresh drivers in safe mode, but no luck. I figure the next step is to fully remove the drivers and try again. Any suggestions on tools to do that?

DDU resolved the issue. I don't know why, but I'm still surprised that the Nov Nvidia drivers would hang windows on boot with the 1080Ti installed.
