I've been outta the HSF market for quite some time, and just wondering what the prefered hsf is now adays for a socket 939 setup.

You looking for performance or sound?

The Zalman 7000 Cu is a really good one that is extremely quiet. Thermalright is always a choice and they have a 120 version that takes a 120mm fan. Otherwise you can always look at one of their best performers.

A dark horse - but one of my personal favorites - are the swiftech heatsinks. They are absolutely wonderful Heatsinks but they are a little more difficult to find.

If you don't want to go with the "monster" XP-120, the XP-90 is a nice choice. A TON lighter than the Zalman.

and more importantly cools a lot better.

I want to get my hands on the Thermalright SB2 when it becomes available.
