Do any of you know of a good pre-sleeved psu? Can you please give me a link to it on newegg.com.

My system will most probably be:

AMD 3500
2x80GB HD
512x2 Corsair XMS 3200
1 Double Layer Drive..

I don't have much stats on it but I though ~400wats should do.

I doubt you'll find what you're looking for at newegg. I've picked up a couple from> http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php the sleeving is extra, but was worth it to me :)

thermaltake, aspire, aerocool, and many others come with sleeving, vantec ION's and rosewills ones do aswell, antec neopower blah blah blah

you just need to look

thermaltake, aerocool, and aspire are all crap.

The best sleeved psu's are the pc power and cooling deluxe range. They are painted in a nice matte black with black fan grills and black sleeving. Truly a sick looking psu.

Depending on your budget you can get a:

pcp&c 510 deluxe (really a 650w unit by the other companies rating standards) with 34amps on 12v line (38 peak) for $229

pcp&c 425 deluxe (will out perform other companies 550w, don't worry about low wattage) for $125

or even a pcp&c 350 watt will power your system fine, but don't know if those come sleeved

Check them out

www.pcpowerandcooling.com

Also if you're not prepared to spend that much on a psu (even though it is the single most important componet of your system), you can buy one like an antec or enermax at www.frozencpu.com or www.performance-pcs.com and have it sleeved there for an extra charge, as well as have the molex connector colors change, make them glow uv, change fans, and even make it modular. But it will probably end up costing just as much as a pcp&C in the end.

Or if you REALLY have no budget (I'm talking $300 up), you can call pcp&c and order a custom jobbie which I did and have them put adjustable pots on 3 foot wires (thats the only custom option I did due to cost), modular, silencer fan, specify wire length, tell them if you want more amps or wattage on a certain line or such, specify how many molex, floppy, or sata connectors you want, etc, etc, etc. They are amazing.

i doubt he'll spend 230$ on a PSU, though the PCP&C is a great choice, if the 230$ isnt there you should choose from an antec neopower or a lower priced 400-430w and have it custom sleeved
