Pre-Modded Power Supplies?

Don't know why but I'm back in the mood to clean up my wiring. The thing that is tough is the fact that I have all of these extra cords, and no real place to stick them, including the motherboard layout and the case making things difficult. I remember awhile ago that 90degree Molex's were a good thing, but I never learned anything about them, other than I heard that they were expensive.

I have seem modded Power Supplies around here, that allow the user to plug in / remove additional power plugs, in order to use what you need and get rid of the rest, making for an easier clean-up job, and a more visually appealing mod... I would attempt to do something like that, however I do not have the knowledge, nor the skills to do anything of that nature, whether it be working on the power supply, or the creativity / skills of applying the mod. I didn't do all that good on the electrical portion of the A+ so I didn't learn that much. :) Don't really want to be messing around in something I don't quite understand.

Does anyone know if they specifically make relatively quiet, easy to clean up wires, modded power supplies anywhere?

Hmm...

Nice... quite nice indeed... however the fact remains that they are pricey as all hell. :) Any other solutions? I even took the effort of taking a gander at the FAQ on the cable sleeving over at FrozenCPU... what tabs were they talking about, on the molex's?

Anyone know of any extremely easy to understand yet accomplish a lot guides on doing these kind of things, soldering, tidying up the wiring, etc? That may help me out. :)

I'd worry about who does the modding and if the safety certifications are voided by it. I was once at the website of a company that sold PSUs with clear windows in them, and the website said that the products were approved by UL, UL Canada, CSA, etc. But when I asked if their products were recertified after the mods were done, the US UL approval claims were gone from their website when I returned a few minutes later.

AFAIK, the only PSU modders that are qualified are companies like PC Power & Cooling, Q Technology, Silent-X, etc.
