pptp vpn with firewall

Do I need to do something with my firewall to have PPTP vpn working? The server that handles the vpn is behind a NAT gateway with ipfw. Clients can't seem to connect to them properly. they can see the server but not do anything.

PPTP vpn? Port 1723 and GRE Protocol need to be forwarded to the internal server.

Yeah. Make sure your router supports VPN pass-throughs; Smoothwall Routers can be lightly modified to do this. (I had to. hehe)
