This is coming from some ignorance on my part, but I'm confused a bit about displayed PPD and my stats on F@H.

If you look at my stats on http://www.hardfolding.com/fh_stats/index.php?pz=102&tnum=33&id=2091664 it is showing my average points per day is around 1700. However, if I look at all the clients I'm running, it "should" add up to much more than that.

I have 2 SMP clients running on 2 different boxen. Neither are particularly powerful (a 2.5Ghz Turon laptop and a 2Ghz X2 3800 desktop). Based on the GPU Tracker, I should be getting 2k+ PPD from these combined. I know the PPD displayed is just an estimate.

I'm also running a v7 beta on a HD5770 (finishes a WU in around 5 hours), a uniprocessor on the same machine the HD5770 is in (1k displayed PPD) .....AND a PS3 client.

Surely all these combined should add up to more than 1700PPD unless I'm missing something.

Well, I found one problem....my v7 client was configured with the wrong user name. But it looks like the stats from both are being added, since the passkey is known to the v7 client.

Finished installing my 2500K. I started with a combo of v7 and SMP on 2 cores with the FAH GPU tracker and didn't like the PPD I was seeing, just under 4k. Switched to straight SMP and it jumped to 12k. Waiting for aftermaket cooler and I'll OC this beast and see what it can do. It's no SR-2, but I'm happy so far.

12K is good news. That 5770 is not going to be a lot of points. 5850's and 5870's are the ones that get decent points for what the are worth. The 69xx series doesnt get much more points that the 5K series. SMP is the most effecient PPD/Watt/dollar.
