Ok.. with the rig i got in my sig below.. what is the best powersupply i can get for my AMD Althon 64 3200+... when i go to turn my RPM's on my fan's up my computer restarts because i dont have enough juice to run everything...
Let me know

The TTGI Super Flower 450SS:

These have absolutely sold out at Directron, and I cant tell you why: they're simply awesome. 27A on the 12v line is definatly enough juice for a high-end video card and more. The 140mm fan not only draws a lot of hot air out of the system and is speed adjustable, but it has 4 blue LEDs which are just secks. Great mirror paint job as well. On mine all the volts are either dead on or a little bit over. Definatly a great buy and awesome to look at.

BTW, it peaks at 510w.

While I can’t speak from any experiences on the above-mentioned PSU I can’t argue the logic. Get a big one. See the stickies at the top of the forum and pick a good solid recommended PSU and go for it.

If you’re that close on power now I’d be very careful you don’t break something. An over loaded power supply can do weird things. I hope you at least have it hooked to a good UPS.

Luck

well does pricing matter? for me i got a fortron blue storm 500 watt psu. its great! and u can't hate fortron! :) its well priced and very reliable.

new-egg carry them??

you shouldn't be so lazy and just search. if you want the BEST power supply get an Enermax server psu or a PC Power and Cooling one. I got two Enermax's and they're great. 36A on the 12v line.

This has to be the best bang for the buck power supply. It is also almost inaudible, and should handle your system fine. I'm basing this off of the fact that I have a prescott system, overclocked to 3.8ghz, with 2 hard drives, 2 DVD burners, and 5 case fans. The voltage doesn't fluctuate much. The only other thing I don't like is that the led's are kind of too bright.

Whereas the system in my sig is powered by an Antec TC550, but it is going to be replaced soon, because my 12V rail fluctuates by .15V up and down. It used to fluctuate only .05V.up and down.

I think this Allies PS is the best on the market.

Seriously though, there is a thread at the top of the forum labeled "Before you post about buying a powersupply. . ."
