The only fan on my whole computer that really makes any noise is my power supply fan. I once saw something used on the back of the computer that went over the back of the power supply and made the air flow through chambers wich took the noise level down. I cant seem to find it now. Any ideas would be great.

You can replace the fans with quieter fans or even have them hooked up to a fan controler to ajust speed and noise.

Just becareful not to touch anything inside the power supply then it should be all good.

Check Teck TV or Screen Savers site for that mod. They actually called it s PSU muffler and was really pretty cool. It was shown on the episode where they were building a completely silent/performance comp

The Vantec Vibration Dampener might also work.

nah.. ive used those befor.. they do very little. Its wind noise.. not vibration. Im just gonna solder me in a slower fan.. maybe a stealth... wich I hope moves enough air so it doesnt burn up the power supplyl Those psu mufflers are 29$!!!
