Powerstrip problems with 7 inch LCD

I have a Xenarc 7 inch LCD and I'm trying to set this IBM T40 laptop to display at 800 x 480 on it. I choose it from the list in custom resolution in powerstrip, it has me reboot, but then doesn't use it. I tried following the instructions here at Xenarc's homepage but it won't let me move the resultion..just all the other settings (can't move the 600 down to 480). If I choose the 800 x 480 from the custom then try to edit, one refresh will change as soon as I change another one and it never matches the settings in the Xenarc instructions.

Any advice?


I can get it to 800x480 by editing the settings in the 800x600 setup...but like I said it won't let me change the 600 part. So it shows up with no start bar (can't see it) and the very top is kinda messed up.
