I've only installed OMI to monitor. Stay away from that ITA crap, it's too much overhead for what you get. I'd look into monitoring your stuff via something like BigSister or hobbit, and just using an OM script.

OpenManage is very straightforward, just install, login to the webserver and start clicking around. Just make sure you delete the raid config
