Powered USB Hub - Which One?

Looking for a powered usb hub so I can charge/run things without the pc being on. I have a Belkin but it doesn't seem to want to charge without the computer being on which totally defeats the purpose of being powered. So, which is the best one? Linkage, please ;)
 
Sounds more like you want a dedicated usb power source rather than a hub given that it's a reasonable assumption that other hubs will do the same thing.
