This card is being shipped as I type.

Yeah, yeah, I am on a budget. Anyone know anything about these cards? Good, bad? Well built? How well do they perform compared to other cards? Hopefully I won't be stuck with it for _too_ long, but who knows.
 
link doesnt work. but if the card was as bad as you seem to think it is why not save your money and just go straight for the better one to begin with?
 
Honestly, I was, maybe naively, heartset on getting 256mb of ram with it, and bought the card for 173. Newegg didn't have any cards in the same pricerange with anything over this one, so I assumed it was a good deal. From what I've been reading, it may have been better to go with a 9600XT.
 
I would have forked out $25 more for a 9800Pro or $50 more for a 6600GT AGP.
 
Ouch that's the 128bit 9800. The one everyone here tells everyone else to stay away from. But it's your choice..
